Why a phone call wakes you better than an alarm

An alarm sits on the device beside you and can be snoozed without getting up. A wake-up call rings like any other incoming call, so you answer it or let it go to voicemail.

Wake-up calls for heavy sleepers

A beep can be switched off without sitting up. Answering a call is a different action: you pick up, or you let it go to voicemail. That extra step helps some heavy sleepers who have learned to swipe the same alarm tone. It does not help everyone, and a very short night can still win.

Like a hotel wake-up call, on your own phone

A hotel wake-up call is a ring at a time you asked for, usually from the front desk. On Time Call is that idea on your own phone: you pick the time, and the call plays a message you recorded, or an AI voice on a paid plan. There is no live operator, and the call works at home as well as when you are away.

Wake-up call service FAQ

Is there a free wake-up call service?
Yes. On Time Call gives every new account 3 free wake-up calls. They're one-time calls, not a monthly allowance, and no card is needed. On the free plan you record the message in your own voice; AI voices and daily repeats are on paid plans.

Can I get a free wake-up call without signing up?
No. You need a free account (email or Google) so your calls are tied to a number you control and you can change or cancel them. Signing up takes about a minute and needs no card.

How do I get a wake-up call on my phone?
Create an account, enter your phone number, record or type your wake-up message, then pick the time, timezone and whether it repeats. At that time we ring your phone like a normal incoming call.

Do wake-up calls still exist?
Yes. Hotels still offer a morning ring from the desk, and you can also schedule one to your own phone. On Time Call places that call at the time you set and plays a message you recorded, or an AI voice on a paid plan. There is no live person on the line.

Is there an app for wake-up calls?
Yes. On Time Call has an Android app on Google Play, and you can also schedule calls from the website on any phone or computer. The call arrives as a normal phone call, so no app is needed to receive it.

What if my phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb?
Silent mode and Do Not Disturb can stop the ring, and Silence Unknown Callers can send it to voicemail. US: +1 (740) 693-0907 · Canada: +1 (431) 500-0907 · UK: +44 7426 930907. Save the number for your country as a contact and allow it through those settings. The steps are in the guide to calls that are not ringing.

Which number will call me?
US: +1 (740) 693-0907 · Canada: +1 (431) 500-0907 · UK: +44 7426 930907. Save the number for your country as a contact, e.g. "On Time Call", so your phone recognises it.

Can I set a recurring daily wake-up call?
Yes, on paid plans: every day, weekdays only, or custom days. The free plan includes one-time calls only.

Is it a real phone call or a notification?
A real phone call to your number at the time you schedule, not a push notification.

Which countries do you call?
Mobile and landline numbers in the UK (+44), the US and Canada (+1). Other countries aren't supported yet.
